22-year-old Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume, the new Miss Botswana

22-year-old Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume, the new Miss Botswana, was crowned by Miss World Africa Lesego Chombo

After a glittering ceremony held in Tlokweng, it was Anicia Gaothusi, 22, from Tutume, who walked away with the title of Miss Botswana. She got the crown from the hands of Lesego Chombo, who recently reached the Top 4 in Miss World and won the title of Miss World Africa.

Halle Hirschfeld placed second, while Sebaga Manyapetsa ranked 3rd. 10 finalists participated in Miss Botswana´s finals this year.

Anicia will now start her journey toward competing in the 72nd edition of Miss World, which is expected to happen early next year.
